Equestrian Career

 

Now an Adult rider, Ridley started riding when she was 8 years old. She began showing on the "A" circuit, competing in the hunter divisions. She has ridden with top trainers Barry Lane, Claudia Rowland, Sunny Stevens, Damian Gardiner and Susie Fried. Ridley fell in love with the jumpers when training with Irish Olympian Damian Gardiner, and that remains her favorite division. Ridley and her husband Rick reside in Atlanta (she is a sixth generation native Atlantan) with their two beautiful young children.

 

SMR is very excited to have Ridley Warren as a Style My Ride coordinator and correspondent. She brings with her an extensive background in fashion both in the commercial and equestrian industries. In the fashion industry, Ridley has worked for Ralph Lauren, Nicole Miller, BCBG and Canyon, just to name a few. 

 

She is well known in the Atlanta area as a sought-after buyer for the high end tack stores in Atlanta's equestrian community. Stores like the Horse and Hound and Atlanta Saddlery saw Ridley consistently make their sales take off. Clients and equestrian companies alike have sought her expertise when designing garments to market or for competition.

 

Ridley is not only "in the know" about all things fashionable—she is also one of those people who knows just about everyone. Her vibrancy and natural ability to interact with the variety of personalities that make up the horse world reassures others of her approachability.
